ALENTEJO:
The winemaking in this vast region is concentrated in three main areas. Around Portalegre, east of Evora from Borba to Reguengos and around Vidigueira and Beja. Situated in Borba, the Adega Cooperativa de Borba C.R.L as never completely abandon the time honoured traditions of wine-making. Side by side with traditional vinification methods, advanced technologies are used with the sole aim of producing the very best. Indeed the Adega produces very fine full bodied and aromatic white wines and full-flavoured, soft red wines.
