VINHOS VERDES

VINHOS VERDES
The Vinhos Verdes or Green Wines are produced only on its own Região Demarcada dos Vinhos Verdes, D.O.C in the Minho Province situated Northwest of Portugal and nothing like it can be found elsewhere. In fact its name does not refer to the colour of the wine but to its youth and freshness, a light sparkle and delicacy making them unique. These wines are made to be drunk young and are perfect as an aperitif or accompanying seafood or fish dishes.
