AGUARDENTES:
Aguardente (derived from brandywine, is a general term for distilled wine, usually 40–60% ethyl alcohol by volume. this spirit can also be made from grape, or other fermentable Material. It is normally consumed as an after-dinner drink and they are classified as follow:
Aguardente vínica.
Aguardente vínica is produced by the distillation of fermented grape juice. In this classe we can find the most famous aguardentes of the world such as;Cognac, Armagnac, Old Portugues aguardentes and Brandys.
Aguardentes de Frutos
Fruit aguardentes are distilled from fruits other than grapes. Apple, plum, peach, cherry, elderberry, raspberry, blackberry, and apricot are the most commonly used fruit. It is usually drunk chilled or over ice.
Aguardentes Vegetais
Vegetable aguardente is produced from fermented Vegetables Such as; Sugar Cane, Syrup of Sugar, cactus etc…
