14 Months in new French and Russian Oak Barrels.

Tasting notes:
Deep ruby colour.The oak’s quite dominant on the palate to start adding spice and texture, offers nice black fruit “sweetness” too and alcohol/tannin structure with powerhouse finish.

Solid depth and concentration on the palate, rewarding with lovely ripe rounded fruit.

Douro Lagar dos Saraivas

Aged for nine months in new American oak casks.

Tasting notes:
It is a very harmonious, exuberant, fruity taste, the wood quietly leaves its mark in smooth vanilla scents. In the mouth it is full-bodied, with mild tannins,together with spices and wild berry flavours, and a slight acidity to give it persistence and freshness.

Red colour . Intense flavour of red fruits with slight nuances of spices , given by the wood . Elegant structure and with excellent tannins . Long and fruty finish . To keep for at least 10 years.
