Palmela is a very old wine growing region. Tradition says that NOÉ's grandchild TUBAL has been the first to introduce the grapes and production of wine in this pleasant and sunny region. Situated just South of Lisbon near the river SADO and the Atlantic Ocean, Palmela covers a vast wine-growing area in wide rolling sandy plains.

Intense garnet colour, complex aroma with red berries bouquet, jelly and oak notes.

Tasting notes:
Subtle and persistent aroma, reminiscent of spices. Very concentrated and distinctive flavor. A smooth mature red with leather and dried cherry flavors.

Periquita red

Ageing:
5 Months in new and old oak barrels.

Tasting notes:
The colour is a deep ruby and the bouquet is of red berries, chocolate and nuances of green tea. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, fruity, with soft tannins, and is well balanced with a long, smooth finish.

Tasting notes:
Ripe berry fruits with subtle vanilla notes from oak ageing. Full bodied, with smooth tannins, very complex.
